Oceanfront Caribbean Resort San Pedro Belize with 300 Feet of Beach
San Pedro Town, Belize District, Belize
Property ID :
Ak’Bol Resort is in a top tourist destination, the Tres Coco neighborhood, just 2 miles north of downtown San Pedro. This rapidly developing area has some of the best restaurants and entertainment options in Belize.
The resort occupies 40% of the usable land on site. There are 300 feet of beachfront and 600 feet of commercial road frontage on the main road heading north. This property is the premier Yoga destination in Belize and is positioned to easily expand to a full-service health and wellness resort. Oceanfront property values on the island are determined by many of the same considerations as other international retail properties such as population density, traffic, and infrastructure. In the Caribbean, values are also impacted by watercolor, clarity, and views.
The views of the Barrier Reef and shades of blue water combine to make this one of the most beautiful and serene locations in the Caribbean. Continued government commitment to infrastructure and the awareness of increasing tourism to Belize is having a positive impact on the ability of travelers to choose this Caribbean gem as a vacation destination.
The resort boasts 7 oceanfront and ocean-view cabanas. One of the last resorts on the island offering the natural island lifestyle that made this the best-kept secret of the Caribbean for so many years. A true marvel of a destination, where the jungle meets the sea.
The Hostel on the west side of the property has 30 rooms. The communal bath & showers’ with 10 showers, 8 toilets, 12 sinks, and lockers, are designed to provide maximum privacy and security for guests. The building is 248’ in length. Each room is 10’x12’. The corner units are connected, a great feature for the family. The dormitory on the west side of the road could easily be converted into a separate business from the main resort. Currently, there is no property on the north side of the island catering to the backpacker and hostel traveler markets. Plenty of space to add a roadside restaurant and bar for guests.
The beachfront bar and restaurant is a favorite of locals, expats, and travelers providing a substantial percentage of the annual revenue. The upstairs deck could be converted into a rooftop bar that offers stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and the Barrier Reef.
